The blue butterfly symbolizes new life, spiritual transformation, and the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Just as a butterfly emerges from its cocoon changed and free, we believe that individuals and families touched by these ministries can find new life, healing, and freedom in Christ.

Blue Butterfly Ministries in Oconomowoc, WI, is a Christ-centered organization dedicated to providing life-changing support for pregnant moms, young families, seniors, and those in need of mental health counseling. Our mission is made possible through the community’s support of the Blue Butterfly Thrift Store and other ministry initiatives.

At Blue Butterfly Ministries, our mission is rooted in faith, compassion, and transformation. We believe that lives can be changed when Christ’s love is shared through action—and that belief is at the heart of everything we do.

Founded in early 2021 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, the Blue Butterfly Thrift Store began as a simple idea during the COVID-19 pandemic: to create a sustainable way to support vital Christian ministries by connecting generous donors, eager volunteers, and caring shoppers.

Since then, our ministry has grown rapidly, thanks to the incredible support from our community. We are blessed to now have two thriving thrift store locations—our original store in Oconomowoc and a second location in Watertown. With each new donation, customer, and volunteer, our reach continues to expand—and so does our impact.
